The Global Executive Master in Operations and Supply Chain Management (GEMOS) is a twelve-month long programme taught on campus at two European schools, MIP Politecnico di Milano in Milan (Italy), and EADA Business School in Barcelona (Spain), with one special International Week in the Beijing Jiaotong University in China.
The course aims to instruct working executives on the key elements and theories of modern operations and supply chain management. Participants in the programme will gain the opportunity to study in two of Europe’s premier business schools, and earn an Executive Master Degree whilst studying in a part-time delivery format. Additionally, the programme involves extensive collaboration with partner companies and firms, including project work, consultation opportunities and networking events, where students work on relevant industry-related projects. Starting from the 2019 edition, GEMOS is accredited by CIPS – the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply – thereby giving students the opportunity to get the professional MCIPS licence within 5 years from graduation at no additional cost.
Moreover, in order to support GEMOS students and alumni, MIP Politecnico di Milano has set up the Corporate Advisory Board (CAB), an international consultancy committee with the aim of keeping the content and frame of the Global Executive Master in Operations and Supply Chain Management in line with business reality. It is composed of independent business professionals from global companies that meet regularly and maintain contact with participants and alumni.
