Achieving personal and professional goals.
The Merage Fully Employed MBA (FEMBA) curriculum emphasizes a combination of integrated management skills and comprehensive functional knowledge that you will be able to use immediately in your current position. You will earn the same MBA degree as our full-time students in a program tailored to meet the needs and demands of the working professional. As a student in the Fully Employed MBA program, you will achieve your personal and professional goals while networking with the business leaders of today and tomorrow.
Our approach to learning that combines business theory and practice has long been a hallmark of the Merage MBA. Our curriculum is dynamic and reflects the needs of the business community.
Merage School Professor and Associate Dean Vijay Gurbaxani, one of the principal architects of the school’s curriculum, puts it this way: “We want every student to learn how to translate classroom learning into action, building hands-on expertise in his or her chosen area. Students will learn how to conceptualize and structure a business problem, develop an analytic solution approach, collect data, and make and implement recommendations. The end goal is to develop critical thinking skills in our students so they can successfully lead organizations in the future because they understand what it takes to compete in the global innovation economy.”
Close-knit and supportive.
Students, faculty, and staff all work together in a collaborative and rewarding environment. We keep the focus on you and do our best to deliver an MBA experience that is second to none. We recognize the challenge of balancing your job, school, and a personal life, so we make your experience easier by handling many of the details involved in returning to the classroom. Registration, enrollment, books, parking, offsite residential planning, and management – all taken care of by the Merage staff.
The FEMBA Program’s intense learning environment creates the framework for the program. Outstanding student resources, a supportive, effective staff and valuable IT Tech Support let you concentrate on learning instead of logistics. The customer-service aspect of the FEMBA Program makes the difference for professional students with demanding schedules.
Classes are held on the main campus with easy access to faculty, teaching assistants and main campus resources.
Our Program Management team and Tech Support staff are onsite in the evenings and weekends.
Textbooks can be picked up in the program office every quarter - no need to make time in your day to go to the Bookstore.
The program provides meals and snacks during class days so that you can concentrate on studying and networking with your peers.
