Introduction
The master's degree, with an eminently practical approach, prepares graduates in degrees related to labor relations so that they achieve a high professional qualification in the field of social and labor auditing, labor management and human resources management in the company. It is an interuniversity master's degree with the universities of A Coruña and Vigo.
This master's degree of 60 credits, has as objectives:
- Improve professionalism and add academic training to graduates in degrees related to labor relations and human resources.
- Respond to a broad social demand among graduates in the area of social and legal sciences.
- Develop an inter-university program in which the three Galician universities are involved at the same level, generating, through the mobility of teachers and students, quality teaching.
- Offer its students a comprehensive training, preparing high-level professionals in the field of socio-labour auditing, labor management and management of human resources in the company.
It is an interuniversity master's degree with the universities of A Coruña and Vigo.
Curriculum
The program is made up of five modules, of which the student must take a total of 60 ECTS:
- The 1st semester consists of a mandatory module common to the three participating Universities and which will be taught by each of them.
- In the 2nd semester, the specialty module can be taken at the University that offers it as indicated:
- Specialty in Socio-Labor Management (USC)
- Specialty in Human Resources (UDC)
- Specialty in Business Labor Management (UVigo)
- The last module consists of carrying out Internships in Companies and the Final Degree Project.
The teaching given in the master's degree is face-to-face.
It is a professionally oriented master's degree, so direct contact between students and the renowned professionals who teach it is a very important part of the master's objectives.
Classes will take place in the afternoon on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, at the universities of Vigo and A Coruña; at USC they will take place from Monday to Friday.
Program Outcome
The Master's Degree in Labor Management and Management pursues the following objectives:
- Improve the professionalism of graduates in degrees or degrees related to labor relations and human resources.
- Increase the academic background of people from the degree with a specialization program.
- Respond to a broad social demand that exists in the Autonomous Community of Galicia among large groups, basically social graduates, graduates in labor relations, graduates in labor sciences and graduates in labor relations and human resources.
- Establish an interuniversity program in which the three Galician Universities are involved at the same level, without prejudice to the need for coordination between them, and under the sponsorship and close collaboration of the Ministry of Labor and Welfare. This coordination will facilitate, through the precise mobility of teachers and students, greater quality in teaching. More specifically, it is intended that students obtain the following general and specific skills.

It should be taken into account that the potential of the labor market to absorb professionals in human resources, labor relations, legal advice in these matters and social security is great. In fact, there has been a long-standing demand from graduates of intermediate degrees and Social Graduates and graduates in Labor Relations to have the possibility of expanding their studies in a dimension of advancing their employability and their situation in the labor market. In addition, the possibility of this extension is given to students who have completed the Degree in Labor Relations and Human Resources.
