Master in Special Education
The current educational context requires professionals who can support students with special needs (Autism Spectrum Disorder, high abilities, intellectual disability, sensory or motor deficits, literacy difficulties, etc.) seeking maximum integration.
The Master in Special Education is designed to acquire the skills for the early detection of learning difficulties and to define, evaluate and develop strategies and intervention techniques. Likewise, it prepares you so that you can guide teaching teams in an educational center to respond to the needs of their students.
Through different training itineraries, ISEP provides an exhaustive tour of the main learning difficulties and disorders, analyzing in depth their causes with the aim of addressing psychopedagogical attention to children with difficulties.

- Face-to-face modality. You will attend face-to-face sessions at our headquarters in Barcelona or Madrid, training yourself live with top-level experts.
- Online mode. You will follow the Master at your own pace, with fully flexible calendars and schedules and the constant accompaniment of our experts.
- ISEP At Home © method. ISEP exclusive. You will attend live sessions with the best teachers, active experts, but without leaving your home. You can attend sessions of the face-to-face modality and carry out practices in person.

Competencies of the Master in Special Education
- You will analyze the causes that alter the learning processes to adjust the psycho-pedagogical attention that each child with special needs requires.
- You will evaluate each learning difficulty detected through different instruments and diagnostic tests.
- You will know the observation and recording instruments to detect behaviors and habits to modify in the classroom.
- You will design strategies to prevent these difficulties and guide the school's teaching team on the techniques, resources and methodology to apply.

The Master in Special Education is aimed mainly at professionals in the educational field (teachers, professors, speech therapists, psychologists, pedagogues and educational psychologists) and professionals in social and health fields (social educators, social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists and other specialists) who are interested. in responding to current learning difficulties through a specialized educational approach.
Career Opportunities
With your specific training you will be able to work in the intervention of students with learning problems, advising on resources to teaching teams both in private counseling offices for individuals and/or educational institutions, as well as in special education centers or educational centers, developing resources and programs for intervention in learning difficulties.
