Introduction
Education in the field of internal security is interdisciplinary. Students gain general knowledge of law and administration, organization and management, psychology, sociology, etc., in conjunction with specialist, practical knowledge about threats to state security, health, life and property of citizens, information security, crisis management and maintenance of public order. They learn how to manage the security of mass events, react in situations of threats resulting from natural disasters, catastrophes, acts of terrorism and social disorders. They learn about the operation of uniformed services and other authorities responsible for safety and protection of public order.
Graduates can apply for employment in state and local government institutions with crisis management units, uniformed services: Police, Internal Security Agency, Border Guard, Fire Brigade, Municipal and Municipal Guards, etc. Employment prospects are also created by the dynamically developing market of services provided by private entities, specialized in the protection of people and property.
