The School of Business Administration (SBA) is committed to developing socially responsible business leaders with a global mindset through academically rigorous, relevant, and values-based education and research.

As a result, USD School of Business Administration graduates hold professional positions in high technology, new economy corporations, consulting firms, and other entrepreneurial endeavors throughout the Pacific Rim and beyond.

Rankings

The University of San Diego is ranked 36th in the nation on Bloomberg Businessweek’s 2011 list of the top 50 undergraduate business programs. This is the fifth consecutive year that USD has made the top-50 list. Bloomberg BusinessWeek awarded the school "A+" grades for teaching quality, and "A" grades for facilities and services, and job placement. USD’s undergrad program is among the top five on the west coast.

The University of San Diego’s Evening Master of Business Administration program is ranked 26th in the nation, according to BusinessWeek’s latest list of the top 30 part-time programs. The ratings are based on surveys of academic quality and student satisfaction. In total, BusinessWeek ranked the top 69 schools. Highlights of how USD Ranked include:

The Program Content

Participants gain advanced expertise needed to help their firms progress to world class supply chain management status, with significant improvement in their firm's profitability.This 36-unit program consists of two phases. Phase I of the program is the Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management (GC-SCM).  Students have the option of completing Phase I only and receiving a Graduate Certificate in Supply Chain Management.  Upon successful completion of Phase I (GPA 3.0 or higher), students may matriculate into Phase II and complete the MS-SCM.The MS-SCM program is offered online in a lock-step, cohort-based format and requires 26 months for completion.  There is a two month break between Phase I and II, which each require one year for completion. This break allows students time for reflection and rejuvenation. The delivery format employs a blended approach to learning, whereby students spend 11 days on campus per year and complete the remainder of the instruction via online learning.  The regular online interaction makes it possible for students to interact with their instructors and fellow students in a user friendly manner. ...
