Start with Success

At Hesston, success starts with support. Studying in a new cultural context takes work. We offer English as a Second Language classes and other international student services to help you adjust to life in the Hesston College community. Academic programs are designed to meet a variety of options. Hesston grants the associate degree, so if you have specific career interests, your two-year degree can lead directly to employment or can be the foundation for further study. The majority of Hesston graduates complete their education at a four-year college or university. Our liberal arts curriculum offers you a wide range of educational preparation, and we will work with you to make transferring your credits simple.

Start with Community

Hesston College quickly becomes a home away from home to 450 students who venture here from about 27 U.S. states and 14 countries. Because our students come from all over the world, you will encounter unique experiences and viewpoints. You will have opportunities to learn outside the classroom though campus activities and organizations, volunteer work and participation in our choirs, music groups and athletic teams.

Here, community starts in the dormitories. More than 75 percent of the student population lives on campus. We promote socializing, living and working together through campus activities, mod living and spiritual development. Dormitories are organized so that two students share a room that is also part of a mod. Mods are units of five or eight rooms that are led by a second-year student called a resident assistant or RA. Your RA is available to answer your questions as you transition to a new culture.
