Welcome to the Faculty of Business & Law, part of Kingston University London. The Faculty comprises the renowned Kingston Business School and Kingston Law School.
Rated top new university in London by the Guardian, we're based in Kingston upon Thames, a busy riverside town bordering London and Surrey. The beautiful Kingston Hill campus is close to Richmond Park and Wimbledon Common, and is only 25 minutes from central London.
Research also plays a very important role for the Business School and the Law School. In the recent Research Assessment Exercise, the Business and Law Schools gained excellent results demonstrating the significance and impact of research in the Faculty.
Our courses are designed to allow maximum flexibility by offering you part-time options. Commitment varies depending on the course, with many offering part-time evening or afternoon/evening study, and some on an open-learning weekend attendance basis.

We are one of only ten Centres of Excellence recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and one of an elite number of UK business schools with Association of MBA accreditation of our MBA courses. We also recently received EPAS accreditation from the European Foundation for Management Development for several of our postgraduate and undergraduate courses, and are only the second UK business school to receive this accreditation.
Kingston Law School
The Law School has been an established and growing centre of law teaching for 40 years. Our wide range of law degrees gives an excellent start for a career in law and in many other legal aspects of business as well as many other careers in a friendly, productive and supportive law school.
Many of our staff are active in professional practice as well as being leading academics. In addition, the faculty has a growing number of thriving research centres, with an increasing number of our staff actively engaged in research, and sharing their in-depth knowledge through teaching.
To ensure that we keep you up-to-date with the latest industry developments, we have also established links with business institutions in central London and beyond, and we collaborate with international partners who provide our courses overseas. Our taught courses are designed to equip you with skills to support your future career aspirations or enhance your current career prospects.
Modules are structured to ensure a stimulating and balanced programme of study including lectures, tutorials and seminars, laboratory sessions, interactive classroom sessions and student-led group projects.
