Since its start-up in 1993, the College of Management at Yuan Ze University has gained much prominence in Taiwan. The College has been long recognized as the best, private management college in Taiwan. Moreover, it was given the highest rating (five stars) in research and a four-star rating in faculty profiles in the 2004 Business Education Appraisal Report released by the Ministry of Education (MOE) in Taiwan. In 2010, the College was one of the only two business colleges in Taiwan to receive a two-year "professional business school" project grant from the MOE.
Currently, the College of Management has around 70 full-time faculties and 25 administrative staff and offers a comprehensive array of BBA, MBA, MS, PhD, and EMBA programs to about 2,500 students. The College has put much effort on education innovation. In particular, the College is the first and the only management college in Taiwan to restructure its original department-based organization to a program-based organization with the emphasis of providing a student-centered learning environment to make sure that the resources are more integrated, available and flexible to all students. With the new organization, students attending degree programs can choose various majors/concentrations, and the faculties are categorized into six disciplines (Research Areas). The College has also established its own office of International Programs, the Office of Placement & Alumni Services, and the AACSB Accreditation Office to enhance the all-around services for all students.
The College of Management (CM) strongly emphasizes the importance of first-class research and teaching. Substantial international cooperation has been established with partner universities in the European Union, the United States, Australia, Japan, Korea, and South Asia as well as several top universities in China. To enhance internationalization, all courses in master programs and many undergraduate courses including a recently established English BBA program are instructed in the medium of English. Currently, we are recruiting international students from all universities around the globe.
Through our continuous efforts in providing comprehensive research and exceptional teaching, we aim to soon become one of the premier institutions for management education in Asia.
