Over the years, it has the clear intention to become a benchmark in its area of expertise and a place where new business models are invented and discussed.

Thanks to partnerships with leading and very flexible universities in Asia, Portugal and Eastern Europe, SSE offers a unique possibility to study in various campuses during their entire curriculum in order to increase their international awareness and experience in multicultural situations. Accreditations

To maintain outstanding conditions and provide students recognized degrees throughout their career, the Foundation has decided to reach the high requirements of international accreditation bodies, as well as the standards imposed by the Swiss authorities to offer an official publicly recognized curriculum. Carefully chosen based on their academic qualifications and expertise in their own field, 100% of its faculty members - among which professors from Ivy League institutions - hold a PhD degree for a restricted number of selected students who may also transfer from a few high-end partner institutions.

Guaranteeing a maximum experience before graduation

Too often, students are requested to gain additional experience before applying for high-end positions in the industry creating a great sense of frustration and despair. To avoid this unpleasant situation, Swiss School of Economics has partnered with the Metis Finance Institute, a wealth management & private banking institution, to offer regular practical periods in finance every week to students. A subtle balance of academic challenging classes and practical periods allows students to rapidly gain experience and self confidence by training in real life scenarios, before attending their compulsory paid internship in another famous institution for 4-5 months.

Innovative approach to tuition with a maximum flexibility

In all programs offered at the Swiss School of Economics, a total flexibility is offered during the entire curriculum. Students who are working and occupy an important position at the time they consider joining our institution are able to start their studies at any time thanks to a unique system of independent modules open all year round. This allows them to feel free to discuss their upcoming academic chapter with their employer, giving the company several options to maintain excellent relations with their employee. Those who need to maintain their position in a company can also count on an executive program that requires fewer days of absence from work and allows a perfect synchronization between demanding studies and high responsibilities on the labour market.

Personalization throughout the curriculum

A state-of-the-art tutorial system guarantees all students a personalized follow-up on their academic progression during their entire studies on campus. A dedicated tutor is allocated to each student to provide the best of education and tailored pieces of advice. This allows our students to know on a daily basis where they are standing and what they still need to do to reach the highest expectations.

Academically qualified faculty experts in their own field

Faculty is carefully chosen by the Dean and the Foundation’s management. There is no compromise in the selection of faculty members. All professors must be academically qualified to teach and train our students. Whereas professional experience is a highly valued asset, academic credentials of applying professors are crucial and particularly important to maintain our commitment to excellence. Faculty members are experts in their field, and are also required to perform research and publish on a regular basis in relation with their expertise.
