Those are the challenging and exciting conditions and the environment for present education and research.Lund University School of Economics and Management (LUSEM) combines tradition and breadth within Lund University with renewal and close contacts with business and society, in order to act on a high international level in both education and research.LUSEM is one of eight faculties within Lund University. Research and education at LUSEM concern business administration, business law, economics, economic history, informatics and statistics, as well as research policy. About 4100 students and 300 researchers, teachers and other staff study and work at school.Education and research at a high international level is a crucial goal. Through research in the international front line, participation in multidisciplinary projects and continuous exchange on the content and teaching of the subjects, the international perspectives are reinforced.Contacts are well developed with about 100 universities in Europe, East and Southeast Asia, Australia and North America. Each year about 200 students from the school have the opportunity to pursue studies abroad, and roughly the same number come to us to study.
