Introduction

Eram Crossmedia College is placed in the Coma Cross cultural Factory located in Girona, only 37 minutes from Barcelona by train. The EU ERAM is a center of interdisciplinary studies related to communication and creative cross media education, specially oriented to the professional world.

EU ERAM was created in 1998 by a group of interdisciplinary professionals from diverse areas such as economics, design and engineering.

With a common interest in the value of a solid education and with the aim to response to the market and social needs, new studies had been created to provide professional profiles in the field of multimedia, audiovisuals and, later on in cross media.

Our pedagogic model is based in the working by projects educational methodology, focusing on how students apply strategic creativity and design thinking in its process.

The studies program focuses in getting technical tools and knowing how to use them practically, while understanding how to build an experience, starting from research and conceptualization to its production and efficient communication.

During the courses, students are required to deal with responsibilities learning to build their confidence and receive recognition from the teaching staff and from fellow students to help them grow, be better professionals and appreciate the knowledge they acquire everyday.

These programs will also strengthen student creativity and competencies in the area of audiovisual communication, giving them the perfect profile for entering the job market and understand culture industry policy.

Master in Design, Creativity and Technology is a double degree program in cooperation with the University of Northampton (UK) and University of Girona (SP).

 

This Master program guides students through innovative projects closely linked with companies, institutions and research centers. With interdisciplinary projects students will acquire cross-sectional abilities between four modules: Interaction & Technology, Strategic Creativity, Interaction & Technology and Project Management and Communication. 

 

The entire course, 60 ECTS, which is taught in English, and it is divided into two semesters. The second semester is focused on the final thesis project, where all the previous knowledge acquired is put into practice. Inspiration labs are held by recognized professionals in their field to give inputs and support during the final project. By combining Strategic Creativity, Design, Interaction, Technology and New Business Strategies, we seek to train students to be able to work in team with cross-sectional vision.... Professionals with their own equipment are needed, and they have to take care of the concept, the photographic production and the digital retouching, to be able to work as freelancers or linked to media and communication agencies.
