ECIB - Escuela de Cine de Barcelona

Introduction

Founded in 1988, ECIB makes available to students a total of 1000 m2 facility equipped with professional teams: shooting studios, sound studio, digital movie cameras and HD, classrooms equipped with workstations and assembly VFX. This training allows students to learn film techniques needed to develop and explore their creativity as filmmakers his gaze.

ECIB has over 20 years training students in various trades of the film profession: photography and film directors, art directors, camera operators, editors, sound technicians, writers, actors, documentary, film critics, entertainers. Many of them now occupy important roles in the film industry and television.

Studying and Filming

In the Barcelona Film School the most important thing is to practice what you have learned in class. Put into practice the knowledge acquired in hours and hours of class. Each student shoots an individual shortfilm per year, which allows teachers to assess the capabilities of each. In addition, at the end of each course 3 shortfilms per class are filmed.

The Master in CG Animation is aimed to develop and master the tools of 3D character animation technical, artistic and creative with the use of Autodesk Maya software level. The Master in CG Animation is aimed to develop and master the tools of 3D character animation technical, artistic and creative with the use of Autodesk Maya software level. During the master we learn that encourage not only the technical-mechanical phenomenon of moving objects and characters but also, and essentially, give them soul to provoke emotions in the viewer. Structure The master comprises two phases; first from June to October consisting refresh program specifications Maya and their application in the creation of characters, analyzing the physical mechanics of the human body, pantomime, advanced acting, lip synchronization and dialogue. At this stage it is intended that the animator not only perfect management animation software but also provide authenticity know your animations. Final project In the second phase of the master, between July and December, it faces, development and production of a 3D short film is screened in movie theater in June of the following year.
