Master of Science in Computer Science

This programme is designed for candidates who wish to obtain more knowledge and skills in the area of Computer Science and to become an academician or researcher. Graduates from this programme will have necessary ground to pursue Computer Science at the Doctor of Philosophy level.

Programme AimsThe M Sc. Computer Science programme is aimed to produce computer science academicians and researchers that are able to independently acquire, develop and apply advance computer science knowledge and skills in solving computational problems. Students will be introduced to a breadth of advanced topics in various areas of computer science, in which current issues and developments are critically discussed. Active learning environment involving critical analysis of current literature in various computer science area is practised. Students are also expected to execute research based project to develop effective research skills in computer science. Objectives1. To produce graduates who are equipped with the ability to independently acquire, develop and apply advanced computer science knowledge and skills to solve problems2.
