Die Universität Bayreuth ist eine dynamische und forschungsorientierte Campus-Universität. 1975 startete sie als eine der ersten Hochschulen in Deutschland mit einem interdisziplinären Gründungsauftrag; heute ist sie Wegbereiter innovativer Forschung und Lehre. The University of Bayreuth is a dynamic, research-oriented campus university. It was established in 1975 as one of the first universities in Germany with an interdisciplinary founding mission; it is now considered a pioneer in innovative research and teaching. Biofabrication is an emerging technology in the field of medical engineering. In particular, additive production processes (such as 3D printing) are expected to make important contributions to technological progress in the near term – and so is biofabrication. The internationally oriented master’s programme Biofabrication is interdisciplinary in nature, representing an engineering curriculum at the intersection of technology, chemistry, materials science, biology, and medicine. We offer you the opportunity to work in a research area at the cutting edge of medical innovation.
