SIMT - Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology


The Stuttgart Institute of Management and Technology (SIMT) is an international business school and advanced education institute of the Steinbeis-Hochschule Berlin (SHB). In 1998 SIMT was founded on the initiative of a number of renowned global players headquartered in the Stuttgart area, among them Bosch, DaimlerChrysler, Hewlett-Packard, Siemens and Trumpf.

As a graduate school of management, SIMT exclusively offers postgraduate MBA programs. General managers require a broad set of skills to pursue their careers. Consequently, the SIMT MBA has a strong base in technology and innovation management as well as in international management. The SIMT MBA degree focuses on hands-on management know-how and on integral business strategies as well as the training of team player abilities and decision-making competencies. The degrees awarded by SIMT are fully recognized by the German educational authorities. While having a firm foundation in industry and the region, SIMT has an international focus. Its core faculty are international. The language of instruction is English. The course contents and teaching materials are also international. In future SIMT will offer several new Bachelor and Master programs under the roof of the Steinbeis University Berlin (SHB). SIMT also offers a range of non-degree executive programs.
