Graduates obtain the title Master of Science in Engineering in the given engineering field. The MSc is a two-year programme with a workload of 120 ECTS credit points. DTU’s MSc programmes cover most modern engineering fields and are taught exclusively in English. The programmes comprise four categories of courses: General competences, Technology specialization, Electives and Thesis. General competences The MSc programmes include a number of General Competence courses. These are designed to offer students the range of skills necessary to meet the complex challenges of an engineering career, including project management, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and resource planning. All these skills are taught within the student’s field of research and fall into the following categories: General engineering competences You learn to combine technology application and development with financial management, management and organization. Most importantly, you learn how to use your qualifications and technological know-how in a professional and social context. Synthesis competences You learn how to define and provide solutions to an open problem. You may be part of a cross-disciplinary team, and will be trained in communication and collaboration. Normative competences You learn a set of essential disciplines common to all technical aspects of engineering within a specific field. Technology specialization This group of courses gives you the in-depth academic and technological knowledge necessary for obtaining state-of-the-art competences within a specific field of engineering. By combining the technology specialization course with appropriate elective courses, you can create your own inspiring and highly individual study programme. Electives An important aspect of the DTU MSc programmes is the significant number of elective courses. Here you can pursue your own scientific and professional interests. In principle, you can choose between more than 400 different DTU courses. Thesis The master's thesis marks the completion of the two-year MSc programme. The research project is most often carried out at DTU and in many cases in collaboration with one of our many industrial partners. All projects include elements of fundamental research, innovation and application.
AROS BUSINESS ACADEMY – Mini MBA’s and training We aim to put an end to mass-produced leadership educations and instead we design Mini MBA leadership educations, that create a noticeable change - for you and for your workplace. Our Mini MBA Programs We offer the two Mini MBA programs Aros Mini MBA and ABA Mini MBA. We are confident that you will be fond of us You've probably attended lots of exciting leadership training where you have returned uplifted and… [+] recharged back to work. But how much of this training has created a lasting change for you? If you follow the statistics, it is very few. At Aros Business Academy, we are passionate about creating this change - so it makes sense for you to spend time on a Mini MBA, and so it makes sense for the workplace that sends you. We create it with both large and small measures – and some of them are even completely invisible to you. Why choose a Mini MBA? Let’s first establish that a Mini MBA is not an MBA. Of course, one is tempted to say. The word "Mini " says quite openly that we are dealing with a short, condensed and simplified version of an MBA. An MBA typically takes two years, while a Mini MBA typically takes six months. A Mini MBA is aimed at employees who need to enhance their knowledge and tools in management, but does not intend to take an MBA or a Diploma in Management (due to time, money or inclination) – at least not right now. It can be leaders with extensive management experience, and it can be people who would like to take the next step and occupy a management position in the future. The most important thing is skilled (really skilled) lecturers who are in love with their fields To be a skilled instructor at our Mini MBAs you must have professional leadership expertise, no doubt about it. Which our more than 40 lecturers, obviously, have while being among the leading experts in their field at the same time. But we demand more from them! They must be passionate about what they teach, so they can engage the participants to the fullest. And then they must be skilled facilitators who can see YOUR challenge and relate the substance to exactly YOU. Maybe that's why 97.9% of our students believe the lecturer was "good" or "very good" at adjusting the Mini MBA specifically for them. A figure we are relatively proud of, because it’s not easy to achieve. We promise that the Mini MBA is customized to your problems and challenges At Aros we are very much against the run of the routine with the same old material. We believe that you will get the most out of your Mini MBA, if the theory is put into perspective of the problems you encounter in your everyday life, and that the cases are related to your line of work. Therefore, you will receive a short e-course on learning prior to the beginning of the Mini MBA. And we will send you a questionnaire about your assumptions and challenges, so the instructor and our experts can customize the course material to your exact needs.

In recent years, a broad range of co-operation and practical training agreements have intensified links with the labour market and have contributed to good employment statistics for our graduates. The Academy's fundamental artistic activities find expression in a comprehensive and richly varied range of concerts, as well as high-profile projects within educational and artistic developmental work and research. A wide network of international contacts and partners rounds off the picture created by the Academy's many committed teachers and other staff – and above all, by the large body of talented students who form the heart of it all.Since the summer of 2008, the Royal Danish Academy of Music has been housed in outstanding architectural surroundings at Rosenørns Allé 22. During the previous year, the beautiful and atmospheric buildings designed by the architect Vilhelm Lauritzen underwent a thoroughgoing renovation and conversion which transformed them from a radio centre into a modern academy of music. The result is a complex of top international quality, with plenty of room for teaching and rehearsal, as well as offering unique concert and production possibilities.
The Royal Academy of Music as it is shaped today was brought about in 2010 by the merger between The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus, founded in 1927, and The Academy of Music, Aalborg, founded in 1930.But if you dive into the annals of history, you will find that it is not so much a merger as a returning to the institution's original form. The Academy in Aalborg was founded as a northern department of the Academy in Aarhus three years later, and both were founded by Johan… [+] Nilsson and his wife Magda. This means that after 80 years of separation the two institutions were reunited in 2010 to become two departments of the same Academy. The Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus/Aalborg is a state institution under the auspices of the Danish Ministry of Culture, charged with responsibility for the further education courses in music, and for otherwise contributing to the promotion of musical culture in Denmark. ProgrammesThe programmes have been given the highest status, both nationally and internationally. This means that they measure up to the best comparable courses on offer abroad. We train students for careers as professional musicians, and, depending on the course taken, students graduate either as solo performers or as music teachers. TeachingThe emphasis of the teaching is on solo work with an instrument or the voice, but there is also ensemble playing and a number of supplementary subjects. For those studying to become music teachers, particular importance is attached to music pedagogy and communicative subjects. Our corps of teachers is active and committed, and we expect our students to exhibit the same qualities. We are flexible, but we attach importance to discipline and cooperation as important elements in the training of professional musicians and music teachers.
