The Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics has a rich heritage of over 100 years of achievement and an international reputation for excellent research.
One of UWA’s founding faculties, the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Mathematics has educated Rhodes Scholars, Fulbright Scholars, Eureka Prize winners, CEOs and seven of Australia’s most influential engineers, according to Engineers Australia rankings.
The Faculty is home to approximately 380 staff and 3500 students—270 of whom are completing a higher degree by research, 300 studying postgraduate coursework programs and more than 2900 enrolled in undergraduate courses.

Many of these global organisations have made multi-million dollar investments into UWA’s Engineering research and funding including:

Graduate outcomes: The Faculty is proud to have launched the careers of many brilliant individuals. Our engineering and technology graduates are among the highest paid graduates in their field in Australia, earning an average starting salary of AU$70,244 according to The Good Universities Guide 2013.
International partnerships: UWA has over 200 agreements with international partners and is one of only two Australian universities to belong to the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), a partnership of 18 research-led universities from Europe, Africa, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific.
