Lectures will be conducted by lecturers from the University of Warwick. They will teach the same course of study as in the UK, thus ensuring equivalent academic input for those studying in Singapore.
Leveraging on the strengths of WMG (formerly Warwick Manufacturing Group), SIMTech (Singapore Institute of Manufacturing Technology) and SIM itself, the MSc programme provides the opportunity for you to learn about engineering business, including the management and operational requirements, external operations, and conducting research, analysis and evaluation of business data.
WMG, a part of the University of Warwick, has strong links to companies worldwide.
SIMTech is a leading research establishment, with state-of-the art technical facilities and strong links to manufacturing companies in Singapore. It is one of the research institutes of the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).
Duration for the course is 1 year. You must pass all coursework for the 9 modules and a major project, followed by an oral examination.
Each module is delivered over five full intensive days in the day. For some modules, it will be over week nights and full-day on weekends.
Students will be required to spend part of their time at SIMTech’s premises to complete their assigned project for their Master’s Dissertation. Their project work will be supervised and assessed by SIMTech staff in accordance with the University of Warwick guidelines and standards. The completed projects are moderated by a senior member of Warwick staff to ensure consistency.
