Educational and Professional Goals


To educate specialists who are capable of immediate qualified employment in the area of design and execution of Building Constructions.

During the first semester, the students will further expand their theoretical knowledge. Further specialised engineering subjects in the field of specialisation will gradually be introduced into the study plan. The focus will gradually shift towards the areas of the field of specialization that students have selected for their professional career.

Under the expert and methodical supervision of their teacher, students are motivated to take an independent and creative approach, and at the end of their studies they will produce a diploma thesis under the teacher's leadership in which they will prove their inventive erudition.


Admission Requirements and Access to Further Studies


Condition for admitting is obtaining a bachelor's degree. The graduates may continue in a doctoral study programme.


Examination and Assessment Regulations - Required Practice


The respective rules and conditions are specified by the “Study and examination regulations of Brno University of Technology” and by the Dean's Regulations. A practice is not required.


Conditions Required


Students have to complete all compulsory and compulsory-optional courses required by study plans (at least of 90 credits). Further conditions are given by the set of study rules.


Final Examination


The final examination consists of a master's thesis defence and reviewed discussion.
