They are familiar with the phenomenology of religion, with the traditional world religions and with new religious movements. Description of the entrance examination and evaluation criteria The entrance examination takes place in one round and has a written and an oral part. The written part tests applicants' knowledge of biblical theology (including the original languages), systematic theology, historical theology, world religions and philosophy. The oral part is an interview to establish applicants' specific qualifications for the study programme. Assessment criteria: the two parts of the entrance examination are assessed by points giving a maximum total of 100 (50 for the written test and 50 for the oral interview). The examiners marking the written part will not know the identity of the applicants. Conditions for admission The applicants who are most successful in the entrance examination will be accepted. The Dean will determine the number of points necessary to be accepted. After completing the programme you will have : Obtained the knowledge of the theory and practice of diakonia, as well as the professional competence required to function within congregations, institutions and organizations.
