The overall objective of the program is to train design professionals, in all its manifestations (educators, architects, engineers, environmental managers, etc.) for the development of their professions within the framework of a culture for the development of habitats, communities and sustainable organizations.
To do this, students can achieve the following general competencies:
Ability to implement processes of transition to a comprehensive sustainable culture both on a small scale (small businesses, associations and local communities), and at the level of large bioregional communities and organizations.
Ability to (re) designing communities and organizations from a holistic, systemic and integrated approach, making use of recent developments in complexity theory and dynamical systems.
Ability to lead or advise a multidisciplinary team, consisting of experts in the various fields of design sustainable communities and organizations.
