The MPPA provides students with three specific track options in order to tailor the degree to specific student interests and/or needs. Only 8% have not obtained a job since graduating. How long does it take to graduate? This depends on whether one is a full-time or part-time student. 20-25% of our students complete the program within 18 months and 50% graduate within 36 months. This accelerated program integrates the College's Purpose-Centered System of Education, which provides students with the opportunity to use the knowledge they gain in their studies to take positive action in the organization where they are employed. Students earn credit for these hours, thereby making it possible to work part-time or full-time while attending classes full-time. Course Offerings Within the semester, classes are divided into seminars called Dimensions of Learning, Action, and Assessment. They are: Purpose, Values and Ethics, Self and Others, Systems, and Skills. These represent the five dimensions of holistic, empowering performance. Students explore the theoretical background behind each seminar, which will help them master the Purpose for that semester. As a whole, the seminars are designed to help the students: Integrate theoretical material from the other four dimension classes. Plan and carry out an effective innovation or pilot program at the work site. Document their action and achievement in writing. Assess the results and perform strategic planning for the future. The three Purposes of the MPA are inter-related and lead to the completion of a Constructive Action (typically a thesis in more theoretical programs). An extensive research component is integrated into each semester's requirements. Graduate students are awarded the MPA upon the successful completion of 45 credits (15 credits per semester) and a grade point average of a 3.0. [-]
