Geo-information science and earth observation for environmental modelling and management is essential for development issues all round the world. Spatial data, such as maps and global databases, as well as satellite imagery play a central role in the search for reliable environmental information for scenario studies and viable policies. Knowledge and skills in this field will therefore continue to be crucial for industry, government and NGOs.

The programme has a duration of 22 months and is taught by world class faculties in five countries: Iceland, the UK, Sweden, Poland and the Netherlands. While spending time in at least two of the five countries and studying in a multicultural environment, students will gain valuable insights into the academic, social and cultural diversity of Northern and Central Europe.
