All courses are studied in sequence and not parallell. This means that you study one course at a time full time for five weeks then you have an exam and then the next course starts. The MSc in International Business provides you with the tools to master the challenges of management and strategy in global organizations. The program combines advanced analytical training with active learning in real projects together with SSE and CEMS corporate partners. In the International Business program you work on an advanced level with topics focused on running and developing global organizations. The program use strategy and marketing tools to put the firm in context and explore how firms influence their competitive environments. The program also learn how to make firms grow and prosper from the inside, through innovations and management practices that build operational excellence. Leadership and teamwork in multi-cultural contexts is studied as well as practiced through live projects and group work, and reflected upon through interaction with executives. Ethics and CSR is integrated in several courses to mirror the integrated role it should have in everyday decision-making. Language and skills training provides the essential management communication tools needed for your future work. In the program there are components of real, “live” projects together with corporate partners of SSE and of CEMS. Through the combination of topics covered in the program, you will acquire a deep and integrated understanding of how international firms and other organizations function, how to navigate them to achieve results, and, last but not least, how to improve them and the things they do. The program is fully integrated into the CEMS Master in International Management. Upon fulfilling the graduation requirements of SSE and of CEMS, you will be awarded both a Master of Science degree from SSE and a Master degree from CEMS, the prestigious global alliance of management education.​ Specific program requirements: ​ 1) A Bachelor degree with at least 90 ECTS in Business Administration (including up to 30 ECTS in Economics) 2) GMAT or GRE test - GMAT score of 600 or more. - GRE score (Quantitative) of 155 or more. - For both formats the recommended score for - Analytical Writing part - in the range of 4.5-5.0 or higher.​ The GMAT code is MFV-98-44, GRE code is 6213 3) Proficiency in English Proficiency in English is the only language requirement for admission, and it must be documented in one of the following ways: - IELTS score (Academic) of 7 or more - TOEFL total score of 100 or more (internet based) - CAE scoring in least B - CPE scoring at least B - BEC scoring in least B TOEFL test scores must be sent directly from Educational Testing Service (ETS), to University Admissions in Sweden (institution code: SWEDEN 3477).
