Programme The aim of the Internet Technology and Architecture programme is to develop a coherent set of theoretical knowledge and professional understandings and skills in computer networks. Emphasis is placed on understanding of current research issues as well as detailed practical experience of network design, development, implementation, and management. The first year will be similar at the four entry points UPMC, TUB, KTH and UNITN with four basic courses on the foundations of networking, network design and modelling, wireless and mobile computing, and advanced next generation networks. La spécificité de la formation est de permettre l’acquisition de ces bases pluridisciplinaires. Au travers de l’un des quatre parcours proposés, l’étudiant pourra acquérir une spécialisation de très grande qualité grâce à des intervenants d’expertise reconnue au niveau international. L'évolution de la technologie et l'émergence de l'embarqué dans tous les secteurs industriels pose un défi sur la conception de ces systèmes de plus en plus complexes. Cette complexité amène une communauté de chercheurs et d'industriels à tenter de relever plusieurs défis scientifiques et techniques qui sont adressés dans cette formation par la recherche. Elle est premièrement étudiée du point de vue de l'autonomie en puissance de calcul embarquée dans des unités de traitement nouvelles, toujours plus parallèles.
