The Department of Modern Languages also aims at achieving academic excellence and an enhanced international visibility. All faculty members are actively involved in teaching undergraduate and graduate students for a foundation understanding of a broad range of disciplines followed by the opportunity for in-depth study in a chosen area. The Translation Theory and Practice programme is a full-time taught Master’s degree which continues the bachelor’s study programme in Applied Modern Languages. The programme is addressed mostly, but not only, to graduates of Modern Languages specialising in English or French, or any other graduate who masters one of these languages at level B2-C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference. The studies cover 2 academic years (4 semesters). The study programme is allotted 120 transferable credits, 30 /semester.
