Core course The core course, Netherlands Course in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (NTC), takes place on location at KIT in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from 12 September- 16 December 2016. This course covers the basics on a wide range of topics that participants need to follow the advanced modules and complete their thesis. The course consists of 5 modules: introduction, determinants of health, health problems, basic research methods and health systems.
