Our MSc in Mechanical Engineering course is designed for students who desire advanced training in areas of mechanical engineering such as acoustics, energy conversion systems, fluid mechanics, heath transfer, logistics, metallurgy, corrosion and metals protection, polymer and composite materials, robotics, structural integrity, turbomachinery and vibrations. It is a two-year course corresponding to 120 credits and access is limited to students with a bachelor’s degree awarded by obtaining 180 credits referable to basic knowledge in Mechanical Engineering (e.g. our BEeng in Mechanical Engineering). The final examination prior to the award of the MSc in Mechanical Engineering requires the public defense of a MSc thesis. Graduates may work in an industrial or governmental laboratory, or continue their training toward a doctoral degree in mechanical engineering, applied mechanics, or a related field.
