Graduate students of the M.Ed. in Educational Leadership employ leadership behaviors as they engage in responsive, accountable, and autonomous practices designed to meet the needs of dynamic school environments while serving as a resource to their communities. Educational Leadership Programs Bloomsburg University offers four specialization tracks including: College Student Affairs PK-12 School Principal Certification PK-12 School Counseling Certification PK-12 Supervisory Certification in Curriculum and Instruction. All three certification tracks are either with or without the M. Ed. degree. Candidates acquiring a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership are required to complete 15 credits of core classes: 9 in leadership and 6 in research. The leadership core creates a foundation of educational leadership. The research core provides a solid foundation on educational research, where students will complete a review of literature and a faculty supervised action research project required for graduation.
