In order to earn a degree in cosmetology, students can expect to take coursework in hair cutting and styling, nail care, makeup techniques, and skin care. Additional classes may be offered to teach specialized artistry skills as well as sanitation and business management.

A masters is earned after students complete an undergraduate degree program. To obtain a masters, you usually need to complete 12 to 18 college courses that often involve completing comprehensive tests and/or a thesis.

Part time learning allows one to obtain part-time degrees even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at his or own pace, gradually accumulating credits which count towards final qualification.
