The Expert Modules, from the end of May to the end of July (cf. below). The planning and elaboration of the Master project, which needs to be submitted to a jury twice: an oral defense of the pre-project allows the students to validate their professional projects’ feasibility and coherence; the final jury’s comments assess the projects’ future implementation. So as to obtain the credits necessary to validate the European Master, students need to have a Bachelor’s degree (180 ECTS, in any subject, not necessarily photography) and need to pass a foreign language test at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. As for the language tests accepted: TOEIC, TOEFL, IELTS or Cambridge exams for non-native English speakers; for English natives any official language diploma at B2 level in a European language that is not their mother tongue. What are the Expert Modules? The Expert Modules aim at deepening the participants’ previous knowledge and skills in those areas that are most demanded by the professional market. They cover the subjects of business management, image management and publication, advanced studio photography and photo reportage, combining theory and practice. For 8 weeks in total, participants meet up with photography professionals from various domains, who share their experience and know-how from their respective fields of expertise. Students can enroll immediately after completing the Professional Photography in one-year Program, or return to Speos to complement their training in the following year(s). This provides the ingredients to speculate on and question, in the second part of the year, the implications and possibilities of architectural responses to a programme or brief which you have developed on a particular given site. Best Masters in Arts in United Kingdom 2016/2017. The MArch Architecture programme is for graduates of architecture with ARB/RIBA Part 1 who wish to gain exemption from ARB/RIBA Part 2. Our aim is to prepare students for the complexities of contemporary architectural practice by providing a rich mix of rigorous academic and professional teaching. All students choose a design unit within which to undertake their project work, each unit has a different specialism across the themes of; digital surrealism, film and animation, bio-technology, art practice and contemporary culture. The units are led by a highly experienced team of internationally recognised design tutors. The first year of the programme starts by developing advanced skills in urban design and digital representation that can be applied to a major building project in conjunction with a professionally mentored 'Design Realisation' technical report. Additionally students are exposed to current theoretical trends that form the basis for ambitious speculations on contemporary architecture. The second year of study takes the aspirations of the students work to a higher level of professional and academic engagement with an integrated advanced architectural design project and a specialist theoretical and, or, technological thesis developed with respect to the students own interests and passions. The part-time mode is intended for students working in a supportive architectural practice and requires attendance two days a week over three years. The Department is based in a new state of the art building designed by the award winning architects Heneghan Peng; it is equipped with fourteen rooftop landscapes, cutting edge digital workshops, extensive design studios, a world-class library and two gallery spaces.
