Program Description

Master of Sciences in International Business

Brest Business School

The Master of Science in International Business is a 15 month, full English language program, designed for high-potential students with little or no professional experience. The objective is to provide you with the technical and behavioural skills leading to a management career at the international level.

In order to train managers able and ready to take on the challenges of a career at the international level, we build on the diversity of backgrounds and cultures of our student body to help you widen your horizons and enjoy a truly cosmopolitan experience. With this exclusive international focus, our programme courses offer an innovative, interactive and participative approach based on lectures, seminars, case studies and group discussions. You benefit from small class sizes and close personal attention from the instructors.

With an average of 90 hours of class per month, the programme leaves you time to carry out personal projects such as: in-depth work on the courses, early production of a thesis, part-time internship, involvement in applied research projects with corporate partners, involvement in student associations and, of course, the discovery of Brittany and other interesting parts of France and Europe.

A free course of beginner level French as a Foreign Language is included in the curriculum. General and intensive French courses, as well as private lessons at intermediate and advanced levels are available at a fee at our partner language school CIEL Bretagne.

  • Human size of each class and cultural diversity of the student body
  • Excellent alumni placement and network
  • International career development coaching

  • Export Director
  • Export Zone Manager
  • Foreign Branch Manager
  • International Trade Consultant
  • International Product Manager
  • Import/Purchasing Executive…

Our close partnership with the Business School at Waterford Institute of Technology enables us to offer a double-degree curriculum leading to the award of a Master of Science from BBS and the Master of Business Sciences in Internationalization (MBSI) from WIT.

This French and Irish double-degree programme is a unique opportunity to broaden your European culture spectrum and differentiate yourself on the job market as a graduate from two reputable European institutions.

As the programme is entirely taught in English, no prior knowledge of French is required. A course of French as a foreign language (Intermediate level French is required to carry out an internship in France) is available to help foreign students learn basic French so as to fully appreciate their French experience. The curriculum comprises 90 credits.
