Master of Science in European Economy and Business Law
The course in European Economy and Business Law, entirely taught in English, intends to train students to work with a competitive advantage in the field of economics, European institutions management, and market regulation. Through a solid preparation in the field of Economics and Law, adopting an interdisciplinary and practical approach, and an interactive teaching method, the programme aims at developing advanced knowledge and critical ability. The course will provide students with competencies to play an active role within the European institutional system and skills to acquire an in-depth insight of institutional players in the European Union.

The Course in Brief
The Master of Science in European Economy & Business Law is a two-year programme for students with a broad interest in the economic and juridical aspects of the ongoing process of European integration.
This rigorous Master programme allows students to specialise in the application of economics to public policy issues, providing the analytical skills and the necessary background to understand the economic basis of market integration, the functioning of the European institutions and the challenges Europe faces in an increasingly globalized world, where the emergence of new actors and institutions leads to a continuous change in the international scenes.
The purpose of this M.Sc. programme is to meet the demand for expertise from:
- European institutions and international organizations
- Research institutions, government and non-governmental agencies with special focus on European affairs
- Business consulting firms
- National and local public administrations subject to European directives and regulations
Students meet with the course coordinator and the tutors on regular basis and provide periodic reports of their experience at the end of each course and examination session.
These meetings aim at:
- evaluating students' performance
- verifying that courses and exams have been conducted properly
- assisting students in developing the skills and confidence necessary to succeed in the programme
- advising students on their study plan
- Students can also meet with tutors on individual basis.

General admission process: selection is based on academic standing, CV, reference letter, motivational letter and English Language knowledge.
Eligibility criteria: a three-year Bachelor degree obtained in the area of economics, political science, law, humanities, finance, business administration and management, engineering, mathematics, physics, statistics or a foreign degree deemed equivalent by the School of Economics.
Tuition fees per year: tuition fees (2,900 euros for year - to be paid in two installments) plus university taxes (between € 480 - € 1.930 for a.a. 2015-16, depending on annual family income).
