The world is getting faster, more connected, and more complex. This MSc program at the intersection of management and law helps prepare you for demanding roles in strategic, operational, and legal change and project management.

What You Will Learn

An MSc in Management and Law will promote advanced strategic and effective operational abilities and provide the methodological competence needed to use legal instruments efficiently. As Flexible as You

The MSc program in Management and Law allows you to continue working a 50% job. After completing this two-year course of study, you will therefore not only have a Master's degree, you will have also gained valuable professional experience. If you prefer to work a 70 to 80% job, you will be able to complete your studies within six semesters. The MSc in Management and Law is offered jointly with Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. You will benefit from the know-how of two leading universities at the intersection of management and law. Instruction will be in German and English (50% of each).

What You Need to Qualify

Bachelor's degree from a Swiss or a foreign university worth a minimum of 180 ECTS credits in:

  • Business law
  • Business administration without legal specialization
  • (requires additional academic achievements in legal studies)
  • Legal studies
  • (requires additional academic achievements in business studies)
  • Another academic field with a strong legal component
  • (admission on merit)

In addition to sound knowledge of either Swiss business law or the business law of another country, you will need the following:

  • Systemic knowledge of international business law
  • Basic knowledge of EU law and Anglo-American law
  • Proficiency of German and English (orally and in writing)
  • Ability to conduct applied scientific research at Master's level
