The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership degree is designed to give you an interdisciplinary approach to ministry by utilizing classes from Corban University’s graduate programs in business, education and divinity. Vocational ministry often requires you to be equipped in areas besides ministry. You may often be required to balance budgets, recruit volunteers, counsel team members, develop curriculum, manage events or communicate with a variety of people from all ages and walks of life. This degree prepares you for the variety of roles your ministry demands.
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership is built to give you the biblical and theological training you need while allowing you to specialize in an area that applies directly to your ministry. You will take your core courses in Bible, theology and ministry and then choose a concentration to tailor your program to your ministry needs. We recognize that not everyone in ministry is called to be a senior pastor; some are called to be community leaders, teachers, directors, non-profit organizers, or youth leaders. Choose from tracks in Spiritual Formation, Christian Teaching or Non-Profit Leadership. These concentrations pull from the knowledge and expertise of Corban University’s other graduate degree programs and faculty expertise to give you the highest quality of training in your specialized ministry area.
The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership courses are available entirely online, or create a hybrid degree that mixes online and on-campus courses to fit your schedule. Finish your degree in just two years while attending full time or go at a part-time pace as you continue in your current ministry. The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership provides seminary training with a strong theological base and three versatile concentrations allowing you to tailor your degree to your ministry’s needs
