This master combines an emerging field within Economics, Tourism Economics, with a consolidated one, Regional Economics. The study cycle is taught in English, recruits students internationally and has lecturers from various foreign universities. Integrated in a Double Degree Programme, this master also allows students to access the Master in Tourism and Environmental Economics offered by the University of the Balearic Islands (Spain).
The core aims of the master are to: offer a solid specialization on the domains of Tourism Economics and Regional Economics, train professionals to intervene on the planning and coordination of policies in the context of the tourism sector and regional development.
Target Public Holders of a 1st cycle in Economics or Business Administration, or in other scientific domains, such as Tourism, can also apply, however, their admission may require attending some undergraduate courses in Economics.
