OVERVIEW The two-year Master’s in Teaching French as a Foreign Language is designed for students to acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills required for teaching French in Arabic cultures. All courses are taught in French.
The two years combine a taught semester covering solid the three key areas of this degree; inter-culturalism (relations between the French-speaking world and the Arab world), linguistics (French and contrastive, analyzed in the French-Arab area) and didactics (cognitive, psychological, cultural and practical). During the second semester, students complete an internship and gain practical experience of teaching to reinforce their knowledge and skills gained through academic study.

STRUCTURE The degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language is taught in French and covers a total of four semesters across two years, starting in September. The second year course schedule is carefully designed to accommodate working professionals by arranging evening classes in consideration of students who intend to combine their studies with work and working professionals.
