OVERVIEW The two-year Master’s in Sustainable Development Law is designed for students to acquire the fundamental knowledge and skills required for jobs based in legal, diplomatic and ecological domains.

In the 21st century, sustainability and in particular, environmental sustainability are major challenges that all nations need to confront. It is widely acknowledged that every country should aim to achieve economic prosperity by creating blueprints for sustainability that clearly outlines environmental, social and economic goals. This curriculum is based on a multidisciplinary approach and students are taught the fundamentals of Sustainable Development Law, which covers the main aspects governing the environment and a wider sustainability agenda.

International recognition
Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi provides the combined experience of three globally renowned French universities including Paris-Sorbonne University, Paris-Descartes University and Pierre and Marie Curie University. This rich heritage of joint excellence is now available in Abu Dhabi under the Ministry of Education and is recognised worldwide.

STRUCTURE The degree in Sustainable Development Law is taught in English and covers a total of four semesters across two years, starting in September. The exclusively designed course schedule includes evening classes from 4:30pm to 8:00pm in consideration of students who intend to combine their studies with work and working professionals.
