Master in Strategic Human Resource Management
Master in Strategic Human Resource Management is designed to equip individuals with knowledge and skills to manage human capital strategically. The programme will equip students with theories of leadership and organisational management, decision making process, planning and strategic management, communication techniques and supervisory skills, among others. The students are also encouraged to contribute their personal experience and expertise in applying effective ways of managing human capital and restructuring for effective changes in any organisation.
•To produce graduates who are knowledgeable and skillful in strategic human capital management practices.
•To equip graduates with the knowledge and skills that would help them become effective human capital managers in private and public sectors.
•To enhance graduates career prospect through their involvement in the effective strategic human capital management practices.
The MBA degree requires a total of 46 credit hours of graduate work consisting of the followings:
•Eight (8) graduate-level business core courses of three (3) credit hours each
•One (1) graduate-level business core courses of three (4) credit hours each
•Four (4) electives courses of three (3) credit hours each
•One (1) Project Paper of six (6) credit hours.

Career possibilities include Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Business Consultant, Human Resource Director/Manager, Human Resource Trainer and General Manager.
• Bachelors degree (honours) or equivalent from an institution of higher learning recognised by the Malaysian Government.
• International students: TOEFL of 550 or IELTS band of 6. (The validity period for TOEFL and IELTS is two years from the date awarded.)
