Double Degree with Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Paris-Europe (France). At the end of their study programme students can be awarded with a double degree: Laurea Magistrale in Marketing e Comunicazione of Università Ca’ Foscari Venezia and Master in Management of ESCP-Europe (agreement currently under renewal).
Access to the programme
Restricted. Places available are 190 (100 for the Marketing and Corporate Communication curriculum and 90 for the Innovation and Marketing curriculum).
Admission to the programme is subjected to the evaluation of the minimum curricular requirements and personal preparation, which is checked through the admission test.
Moreover, certified knowledge of the English language at least at B2 level is required.
For the English-taught curriculum, knowledge of English language must be obtained at enrolment, otherwise the student will not be allowed to enrol.
For the Italian-taught curriculum, students who do not attest knowledge of the English language at enrolment will be allowed to enrol with a B1 level, but will be asked to obtain the B2 level before graduation.
To be admitted to this Second Cycle Degree Programme students must possess a proper individual educational background and the minimum curricular requirements.
A certified knowledge of English at minimum level B2 is also required. For the Innovation and Marketing curriculum, this knowledge must be obtained at enrolment; for the Marketing and Corporate Communication curriculum, students who do not attest the knowledge at enrolment will be required to verify it before graduation.
This Second Cycle Degree Programme trains experts who will be able to play managerial roles in those companies specialized in marketing, communication, and services.
This Degree Programme educates students to create value for the community providing them with any adequate tools to plan and control marketing and communication activities (for example, brands, advertising in the real and virtual world, public relations), both for profitable and social purposes. Classroom learning activities are accompanied by hands-on experience in marketing and communication departments/offices of private or public companies.
Second cycle graduates in Marketing and Communication may be employed as product managers, brand managers, category managers, sales and marketing manager of companies producing goods and services, account manager in advertising, market research and marketing and communication consulting companies.
Examination assessment and graduation
The educational activities include classroom teaching, workshops and internships, in order to acquire wide-ranging skills that can be readily transferable into the world of work. During the whole university career, the various skills and knowledge acquired by students will be assessed through written and oral examinations.
The degree exam consists in writing a thesis, which must possess the characters of originality, exhaustive documentation and scientific investigation and which will be discussed with a committee of university professors and experts.
