Thus it goes without saying that Marketing Management plays a vital role in any business organisation. It is a discipline with applications in all industries. Marketing as a function spurs business growth. Specialisation in Marketing Management will provide students an opportunity to work in almost any sector of their choice eg FMCGs, consumer durables, advertising and brand management, services, etc., thereby fulfilling their career aspirations.

Accordingly, our Post-Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing Management) – PGDM (MM) programme was launched in the year 2011 with a view to cater to the burgeoning need of industry for thoroughly trained marketing professionals who can deliver the results. We prepare our graduates for a challenging career through our intensive and rigorous curriculum. The programme endeavours to bring about a holistic development of students, and makes them intellectually, socially, physically and spiritually balanced human beings. We believe in an education system that looks beyond employment and concentrates on individual development by imparting “Life Skills”. We aim at creating well-rounded Management professionals who shall lead the marketing initiatives of an organisation while keeping in mind their operational requirements and the corporate goals. We focus not on employbility alone but also on such value addition that makes our students outstanding. We endeavour to create innovative marketers for tomorrow's business.


Course Objective

  • To impart to the students a reasonably high degree of commercial, economic and financial knowledge that they will require for employment in the marketing profile.
  • To equip the students with the requisite skill-set that will enable them to effectively perform a variety of marketing functions within organisations.
  • To provide the students a strong and dependable conceptual knowledge-base that will enable them to scale newer heights and also to undertake further studies and research in related areas.



Duration of the Programme

PGDM (MM) is a Two-year Full time Programme


Eligibility

Graduate in any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate and qualified in CAT/MAT/ATMA (conducted by AIMA). Eligible applicants are required to go through the Institute’s own Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) process. Selection is based on overall merit and aptitude.
