This double-degree programme, in collaboration with the University of Reading (UK), provides students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in a legal profession as it relates to international economic relations. Students can receive both Russian and British degrees.

By taking an interdisciplinary approach, the programme addresses the full set of knowledge and skills that will be necessary for graduates to be successful in their legal careers. Courses are taught by professors and instructors from HSE’s Faculty of Law and other faculties and from the University of Reading, as well as by guest scholars and practitioners from Russia and abroad. Students choose one of two tracks:

Track 1: Double-degree at HSE and the University of Reading

Students in this programme will spend their first year at HSE and their second year at the University of Reading, in one of the following programmes: International Law, International Commercial Law, International Banking Law, International Corporate Finance, International Financial Regulation, or Oil and Gas. Upon successfully completing mid-term and final examinations, they will receive two Master’s degrees (one Russian and one British).

Track 2: Single degree from HSE

Students in this programme will study for two years in the International Economic Law programme at HSE’s Faculty of Law. Upon successfully completing mid-term and final examinations, they will receive a Russian Master’s degrees.
