Managing and leading international high technology, high context or high touch businesses is what the Master’s programme in International Business Management (IBM) focuses on. The ideas that are taught are combined from different fields of managing business, which make IBM a truly multidisciplinary programme and a close connection between theory and practice is maintained in all research, teaching and company projects.
The IBM programme includes three core learning themes: practices of international business, building up international businesses and approaches to international business studies. During the studies, the students are involved in and actively participating in assignments for both small and large companies. The companies offer the IBM students’ Master’s thesis assignments, joint research and development projects. The aim of this cooperation is to assist and accelerate companies’ internationalization and expand their already existing international operations.
The IBM graduates will be awarded a Master of Science degree, majoring in International Business Management with the possibility to continue their studies at doctoral level. The graduates are capable of working in a variety of different professions from international sales and marketing, product / service or business management, international sourcing and logistics, manufacturing or service delivery to consultancy, entrepreneurial or governmental professions.

General Academic Requirements
A successful applicant has obtained their first academic degree, normally a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, from an institution of higher education. As a rule, the Bachelor’s degree is the lower academic degree. This degree should be equivalent of at least three years of full-time studies (180 ECTS).
All applicants are required to prove a high level of proficiency in English language. All programmes ask the applicant to submit documented evidence of their level of English.
