The ESDES Master of International Business Administration is a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical experiences provided by academics and professionals:
- It aims to give students the capability of evaluating the complexity of the international business arena by providing them with analytical tools for key decision-making processes.
- Students will also develop their communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- Interactive learning methods are used in the programme such as business simulation, conferences on international business issues or storytelling by corporate leaders about their successful export or internationalization projects.
The first two semesters will concern core study areas covering international business functions and strategies.
The third semester is dedicated to a dissertation which has to be written entirely in English. Students can choose their own dissertation topic. Professors may also suggest topics which are in their domain of expertise.

Semester 1: Fair Trade and Sustainable Development, Corporate Governance, Business Ethics, Innovation/Creativity/ Project Management, Cross Cultural Management and International HRM, Cost Accounting and Controlling, International Business Strategy, Leadership in International Management.
Semester 2: International Taxation & Social Responsibility, Country Risk Assessment, Business Game: Global Challenge, OB in an International Context, International Business Law, International Sourcing (outsourcing et e-sourcing), International Financial Management, Import/export Management.
Semester 3: Internship/study tour (6 ECTS), dissertation.
The programme is taught in English. Students can choose a French language course as an elective module. Non native speakers must provide evidence of English language proficiency, for example TOEFL scores or a letter of recommendation from an English teacher.
In the European system, a fulltime student takes 30 credit hours (ECTS) per semester. The overall programme is thus worth 90 ECTS.
