Master in Insurance & Risk Management
The Master Degree in Insurance & Risk Management is a stimulating and complete master program (full-time, 12 months), providing the managerial and technical competencies to advance the career in insurance, risk management, finance and consulting.
The Master has been developed with the direct support of company leaders in Insurance, Finance and Consulting (Allianz, Generali, KPMG, Ernst&Young, etc), contributing to its realization from selection of candidates to defining the curriculum and job placement.

Professional Roles: Risk Manager, Underwriter, Actuary, Consultant & Advisor, Financial Analyst, Internal Auditor, Business Analyst.
The programme is full-time and lasts 12 months starting in January and ending in December with Graduation Day. Class days generally run from 9:15a.m.-6:15p.m., excluding weekends and holidays. All classes are conducted in English.
The programme uses a managerial approach to cover specialized themes in insurance and finance. The Master is divided into the following areas:
Fundamentals of Management and Economics
Quantitative concepts and basics of financial analysis from accounting to capital budgeting.
Basic techniques relevant to life and non-life Insurance.
Covers themes of insurance risk, notions and models of analysis to identify and efficiently manage corporate risk.
Insurance Company Management
Examines the managerial side of companies in the insurance process.
Sharpens the soft skills needed to optimise personal potential. Develops communicative, relational, cross-cultural, and leadership skills. The MIRM programme begins with three days of outdoor training as part of the Personal Development/Icebrakingtrack, in order to improve the relations and the acquaintance.
Master in Insurance & Risk Managementis delivered through a variety of active methods and tools. Together with traditional lessons, company cases,business games, simulations, business experiences, field projects, group work and seminars play a significant role.
The participants’ agenda is always full of activities and opportunities. Participants maintain constant contact with the network of companies during the entire program.Company days and interviews, company visits, meeting with managers and business leaders involve students on a regular basis.
During the course, two main international business missions are organized on an elective basis.
The programme puts strong emphasis on teamwork and personal development, starting from the beginning of the course with a 3 days outdoor training session.
The Personal Development track runs throughout the Master.
