Master on European Governance is a graduate study program taught in cooperation of the Utrecht School of Governance of the Utrecht University and the Faculty of Social Studies of the Masaryk University, Brno. The 2-year program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to experience the environment of both schools. The first year is organized in Brno and the second year in Utrecht; moreover, during the program, joint seminars with participation of lecturers from both universities are to be held.

The combination of expertise of both faculties offer an opportunity for a challenging international master program for students who seek an academic training that prepares them for professional positions (e.g. analysts, advisers, etc.) in governmental, non-governmental and private organizations that deal with and/or have to work in a European and EU context. The graduates can also continue their academic careers in PhD study programs.
