Master in Environmental Protection / Environmental Policy
Environmental protection is a domain of activities where a number of traditional specialities are intertwined. Currently, contribution to environmental protection presupposes not only a sound knowledge of natural sciences but also legal norms, global and regional economic and social processes. The Curriculum includes the Environmental Policy as the minor field of studies.
Within the Master curriculum, students master scientific methods of environmental studies, assessing the planning and monitoring of the impact of various objects on the environment, methods of managing the environment´s quality, familiarize themselves with the activities of competent state-run institutions and private companies.

Our graduates are successfully employed as specialists in environmental protection at state-run enterprises and institutions, local self-government bodies, Estonian and international enterprises of very different profiles.

Terms of admission
- completed higher academic or applied education
- an interview with the Admission Board.
- In the language of instruction, the language level B2 is needed, if the previous education has not been acquired in the language of instruction.
Tuition fee: €3120 per year with full study load (30 ECTS per semester).
Graduates from MA Studies are conferred the academic degree of Master of Sciences in Natural Sciences, MSc.
Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Protection is Jüri Martin, Academician of the Estonian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Biology.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty is Assist. Prof. Ljudmilla Martin, PhD.
