Master in Engineering Management and Logistics

The Master stems from a Ph D program that has been awarded with a Quality distinction by the Spanish Education and Culture Ministry.


The Master qualifies for admission to the Ph D Program.


The increasing demand of engineers adequately trained in the field of management leads to the creation of this Master. Its aim is to complement the technological background that its students already have with a strong preparation in the areas of organisation and management specifically related to engineering.


This dual background (management and technology) prepares the candidates for management positions in the industrial and services sectors, with special focus on consultancy, particularly in areas such as purchasing, logistics, production, business process management, products, costs, maintenance and project management, as well as for R+D activities, preparing interested students for an eventual Ph.D. program.


This Master is particularly appropriate for candidates holding a bachelor or master degree in industrial engineering, telecommunications engineering or computer science, however it is open to all science graduates with suitable background and interests.

Master in Engineering Management and Logistics: Aims

The Master aims to train the students for management positions in the industrial and services sectors, with special focus on consultancy, particularly in areas such as purchasing, logistics, production, business process management, products, costs, maintenance and project management, as well as for R+D activities, preparing interested students for an eventual Ph.D. program. The specific competences to be acquired are:

-- Design of production and logistic systems, subject to technical and resources constrains, oriented towards the achievement of operational and strategic objectives.


-- Evaluation of the system's operational performance, identifying and prioritizing improvement areas and process redesign requirements, using analytical techniques.


-- Management of these systems, both in steady state and through the implementation of change projects, supported by the required ancillary technologies, particularly IT.

Minimum Requirements


Bachelor or master degree in industrial engineering, telecommunications engineering or computer science, however it is open to all science graduates with suitable background and interests.


Bachelor en industrial engineering, telecommunications engineering or computer science.
Master in any branch of engineering.
Other Science graduates, subject to evaluation by the academic Committee.


A good command of English is also required, since educational materials in English might be used..

International students

They must hold an equivalent degree to the one required for national students. Applicants must provide evidence that their degree enables them to enrol in a Postgraduate Program in the country where the degree was obtained..


All academic documents must be legalised either by diplomatic means or by the Apostille of The Hague Agreements, except documents issued within the European Union or the European Economic Space.


All documents must be officially translated into Spanish.

  •     Curriculum Vitae.
  •     A copy of the National Identification number/Passport.
  •     Two ID photographs.
  •     Motivation letter.
  •     Two letters of reference.
