Master in Design and Visual Culture
This Master program faces design in a broad perspective, developing assignments in areas as diversified as visual design, graphic design, illustration, movies, motion design, photography, typography, editorial design, comics, animation, thus highlighting the multidisciplinary approach of the program, which goal is to exercise a creative and contemporary project activity with an intense practical workload accompanied by reflexion and critical analysis.
Through an interdisciplinary approach we aim at educating professionals for the contemporary and future visual communication spectrum (visual designers, art directors, visual and photographic creators) in a wide variety of professional contexts and positions and in industries as diverse as advertising, editorial or cultural. The post-graduates in Design and Visual Culture can also follow academic or research careers.
The candidates to this program are BAs as well as professionals and teachers aiming at updating and deepening their knowledge and their skills in the different specialization areas that the program provides. This program sets to instigate on the student the ability to think, create and act autonomously, so fitting a variety of creative and professional contexts.
